Disturbing Abuja

Hey Guys!!!

Hope your week was great and weekend, equally fab… I was out of town last week for a family wedding so this post is sort of a visual recap of my trip.

The engagement part of the ceremony held on Friday last week, and this is what i wore…

silk kaftan

silk kaftan2

I wore a coral silk kaftan, embellished with gold detail. Paired with strappy sandals in an equally striking color (cobalt/electric blue) i was well on my way to enjoy the ceremony..fierce and modish style!

Fast forward to later that day, it was time to turn up with my dear friend whom i hadn’t seen in ages…

floral dress

I got her this floral detail asymmetric dress 2 years ago when i moved back home and she had never worn it, she decided to do me the honors that night…ain’t that cute!

I decided to do something different with my hair (wig) as i wasn’t interested in seeing no one but in dancing my butt off all night lol!

We went to a place called Cubanna, it was major fun. Abuja people actually scream like Lagos people when a good song comes on lol!

Moving on, Saturday was the wedding day and this is how that turned out…

silver pieces

Clutch – Vintage
Lucite Slippers – Fioni

Colors of the day were brown and orange, thanks to my friend Pelumi for the face beat and head tie (i couldn’t tie one to save my career) lol!

brown and orange

Ignore my swollen ankle, i fell on Friday…long story lol!

After the gig, it rained heavily in Abuja and one of my hosts thought it’ll be a good idea to go out and drink pepper soup…after all my time wasting it was too late to catch up with those selling so we changed plans to a place called “Ketchup” for chips and chicken. It turned out perfect…

print jumpsuit

Instead of driving straight home after food he decided to take me to a place called “Caribbean lounge” to hang. Boy it was fun, you know what they say about unplanned things been the best….sure thing!

Next day was Sunday and it was time to give God time…
